When i attempt to sometimes watch a tv show on my computer my screen goes black and my audio stays on for about 20 seconds afterwards then it starts a static sound noise of what was playing. I just replaced both my GPU and my motherboard. My GPU is a XFX R9 290, and my motherboard is a ASUS M5A99FX Pro R2.0. My Harddrive on startup and randomly while useing programs sky rockets to 100% use and lags the computer down quite a bit. but i don't think that is the cause of it. any advice would be helpful.
