Hey guys. I currently have a Gtx 560 and for my birthday im planning on upgrading. Im not sure yet what i should do for an upgrade. I like skyrim and i play it ALOT. I wanna be able to use sharpshooters enb and realvision enb while keeping 60 fps. I dont have any hd textures or anything just vanilla textures. Im looking at a gtx 770 windforce OC by gigabyte and it looks nice. Im curious for skyrim enb's though if i could chose a 4gb gtx 760 and that would perform better(due to the fact that enb's use lots of VRAM). So whats the better way to go? 770 2GB or Gtx 760 with 4gb?. Thanks guys appreciate the community here. Very fast responses :D

P.S: My specs are:
Gtx 560 2gb
600watt psu
I5 3570k
Lots of fans on my pc case
8Gb DDR3 Ram

Solution
Unless you plan on multiple monitors the 4gb of RAM on a single GTX 760 isn't going to perform better than 2 GB. I would suggest the GTX 770.

I know you have found a solution but if the game goes over the Vram limit you are not going to play the game at even decent FPS, so make sure its enough Vram. You will get more performance out of the 760 if the 770 is being held back by the Vram limit.

use boris's enb over and enbdev. it has memory management built in that helps out on vram. that said, early on i owned a gtx670 2gb and had very bad skryim issues.... initially as a test, i ordered a 7950(3gb) and it solved all my skyrim issues. though this was before many of the fixes we have now for skyrim and its stability related to vram. i should note i was on a 1440p monitor so my vram issues were related to my high resolution. that said i think for skyrim modded the right way, cleaned, bashed and tagged and optimized, 2gb should be plenty for 1080p.

I agree with you, but I think he should check the Vram usage others are getting before making an investment of a few hundred dollars.
