After upgrading from xp to win 7, I find my nice 20" monitor no longer has widescreen capacity. Intel, Microsoft, and Dell provide no driver updates for the Intel integrated 915G/915GV/910GL graphics chip. Their solution, obviously, is for me to just buy a new computer -- which is more $$$ in income for all three.
I'm hoping to find an alternate solution. The Dell tech support told me maybe get a new PCI graphics card. Would this work? If so, what specific card would work? Is adding a new card problematic if you already have an integrated on the motherboard?

adding a graphic card will cause no problem with your integrated graphics.

you can go ahead and get any pci gpu....just keep in mind not "pci-e"

so keep in mind though......pci graphics card can be a pain in the a** to buy now-a-days
