Hey guys, just curious what I can do to reformat my ubuntu 13.10 into windows 7.

I had a laptop that was running windows 8, and it would give me an error everytime I tried to reinstall to windows 7 (yay windows 8!).

So i thought I would try out ubuntu 13.10 which I had laying around.

Now i have installed Ubuntu, but I cannot get the wireless working, I cannot download updates and cannot reformat using my windows disk because I cant download the updates to run a .exe file.

Any suggestions or workarounds?

What wireless card? Post output of "sudo lspci" and "sudo lsusb" you may just need to add a firmware file for wireless to work.

If you want to "reformat", this is something you do from windows installion disk. Boot from windows disk and it will format disk before it install.
