I know about ATX and micro ATX, but I'm confused about cases slightly... I think I have a Mid-tower case, and inside my case is a micro ATX motherboard and it looks pretty squished inside my case, with my graphics card, PSU, and heat-sink surrounding it.

I'm not sure exactly about the difference between Mid-tower, and full tower, I know they're different sizes, but then what does ATX and mATX mean then??? A mid tower can support ATX, so what's the point of a full tower? just bigger, so they take up more space? This isn't my main question, please read-on further.

I want to buy a motherboard bundle, to be precise, this: http://goo.gl/UFn1kS
but I saw that the motherboard is ATX, and I'm not sure it will fit inside my case. On Amazon, my (mid-tower) case says it supports ATX and mATX motherboards...

My graphics card is pretty old, and is quite small (like old ones used to be) but recently I saw how big the high-end ones are (they are huge compared to my GPU), and I'm planning to buy one, but can someone confirm that this motherboard bundle, plus a GTX 760 with 2 fans (this: http://goo.gl/ClMSLs) will fit inside my case. Here is my case: http://goo.gl/22LuXs

Thanks for reading, I know I'm being a pain but I really don't know where to go to ask, so hopefully someone on Tom's hardware will help me.

Solution
mATX is a short board or 9.6" and only has possibility of 4 expansion slots, ATX is taller and can have up to 7 expansion slots this will reflect on the case with mini towers only having 4 expansion slots but mid towers min 7.

Interesting... Thanks for this. Could you tell me if the items that I linked (motherboard bundle and a GTX 760) will fit or not fit into my case (I also linked that)

Thanks :)

When you buy a case it will say what size motherboards it will support. If a case states that it supports an ATX size motherboard then it will also support any that are smaller but not bigger. The purpose of a full tower can be for XL-ATX and EX-ATX motherboards which are larger then the standard ATX.
The GTX 760 should fit in a mid tower case.

The motherboard in your package is 12"x8'5" and the video card is 8.6" long so there is room for that card since the motherboard does not usually fit right up to the hard drive rack. The video card is also on the short side when compared to others that can be up to 12" long.
