Hello,

I am using an AMD A10-5750M APU which features HD8650G+HD8670M Dual Graphics. As I have been searching about information I have seen that HD8670M actually works better alone due to lack of driver support in this Dual model(8650G+8670M). As I learnt from my researches this two graphics cards are newly together so there are no appropriate drivers YET.

There is the question; AMD would certainly release some Dual Graphics Drivers in further in order to make HD8000 series have the true driver support for the Dual Graphics Service. Because when I check official site I can only see that HD7000 series are the latest ones to be released as available for Dual Graphics.(My graphics support Dual I am sure of it because I made it sure that they are working, I just want to know if the correct drivers will be released soon)

Thank you and sorry for bad language.

It all depends on how fast amd can publish their drivers. You could try an unpolished version of the drivers like a beta driver to see if that helps at all. Normally you can expect things like profiles to come out within 2-3 months. If you really want to look into this contact AMD directly and ask them your question. What I know and what anyone else can know from browsing the web is about the same. It is best to contact the people within the company directly.

Thanks for the advice. I have contacted them and they assured me that the drivers will soon be released which will increase my graphics performance. I did not necessarily ask about the specific hardware`s-however the guy at AMD was answering according to my hardware so he had probably considered it- now you answered what I necessarily wondering. 2-3 months is not a problem indeed. However, I will never try Beta:D

Just want to add, i've been waiting a year and some change for some quality dual graphics drivers. I have the previous generations 7660g + 7670m, and no matter what game i'm playing, solo discrete always has higher fps and smoother performance. I can tell you this much is true, dual graphics drivers have never been a priority for amd so the best way to go about waiting is either patiently or ignorantly. I wish you the best as you may actually attain the performance gains that dual graphics promises, whereas my last generation laptop may not because of the less compatible hardware. Also, beta drivers are the way to go in my opinion for amd.

You have a point. My further researches shows that Mobile Dual Graphics are something called "Asymmetric Crossfire/SLI" due to their standing position in laptop. In Asymmetric Crossfire it makes something called "Micro Stuttering' unlike desktop Crossfire which is mostly made by customer manually.

Also, now it is better to use HD8670M alone but in dual graphics you can only activate or disable the dedicated one which is HD8670M. YOU HAVE TO USE HD8650G UNDER ANY CONDITION. You cannot disable it. Unlike Intel, Intel offers you the chance to disable the On-Board GPU. So, I have to wait for a stable 14 version of AMD CCC in order to get the support for HD8650G. Until then I will be using 13.12 because I do not want to use beta.
