Bought the parts for a gaming pc yesterday with help online and I think there should be no issues but I'm not an expert. How well will these parts fit/work together?

Solution

MSi recommends a 600w psu for that card.

Well the first major issue is the motherboard and CPU are not compatible. The Z77 is socket 1155 and the 4670k is socket 1150. The 2nd problem is the PSU is total garbage and just by using it you risk damaging other system components. The PSU is a very bad place to skimp, a low quality unit can take out other parts when it inevitably fails.

Thanks for the save! I'll definitely be replacing them then. Any recommendations on a replacement mobo/psu?

Just out of curiosity why is the PSU so bad? It had good reviews from what I saw on newegg.

Most GPU manufactures overestimate the PSU size to account for low quality units. The total power usage on that system would be 350-400w even with a overclock. The system in my sig with just 1 770 installed never exceeded 400w under full synthetic load and the 3820 will use more power than the 4670k.

That may be so, but you have a 1200w psu.
By your logic you'd get yourself a 750w one.
I always suggest a more powerful psu, just to be on the safe side.
I have experience with burned out psu's on account of using them too near to their advertised ability.

Raidmax power supplies use very low quality components and overall they can't deliver anything close to their rated wattage, have very poor voltage regulation and ripple on the rails and have been known to fail in spectacular system killing ways(aka sparks, smoke and occasionally flames). Raidmax is one of the worst PSU manufactures around the only reason they are still in business is because of people who don't know better and they are cheap.

Wow is that what i said?
What i meant was, why get yourself a 1200w psu if your system barely uses half of it.
Not that i see it as wrong, but you're telling another guy to get one with less power than the card manufacturer recommends.

Because I was running triple GTX 580's before I installed the 770's. With the 580's power usage was around 950w and I was considering a 4th.

The suggested PSU is 600w with atleast 42a(the amps on the 12v rail is whats important), that 550w XFX has 44a on the 12v rail. Here's a review of the MSI 770 with a 3770k(http://www.overclockersclub.com/reviews/msi_gtx_770/14.htm) even overclocked the system power usage is 326w which leaves 200w of headroom.

I see.
As a sidenote, did you encounter any driver and performance issues with games in tri-sli?

I didn't have any driver issues, and with 3 there was no microstutter like there was with 2(an issue the 770's don't suffer from). It did produce alot of heat though I had to slap a aio cooler on the middle card to keep it cool.
