Hard drive spins good but clicks when sata is connected

There's one thing but on my hard drive I took it apart and the reader(head) doesn't move at all it's an internal click, basically I turned on the hard drive without the top cover and the head wasn't moving at all

Did you buy this new?
If so, you could have gotten a replacement.

If not, you bought a bad drive.

Either way, by opening it, it is now more toasted than it was before.
It is now a fridge magnet donor.

Naw it was already broken I actually fixed it a little bit it use to be super loud and scratchy and crash now it spins up and just clicks or something whenever I connect the sata cable, and it doesn't make a huge difference if u open it if it's broken I was just testing it to see what was creating

the problem and apparently the little pins never even moved or worked, either way I am getting a refund for it, got it used online anyway half the time they come in Dead on Arrival this is another one of those cases
