Need help with haswell overclocking

I've been doing some overclocking on my new 4670k and it's probably the hardest chip I've ever had to overclock.I was doing fine at around 4.2ghz with 1.3vcore but it seems anything over that and I have to add an extreme amount of voltage to go any higher. Are their any other settings that might help me get higher or did I just get an unlucky processor? Temps are somewhat fine, I'm topping out at 76c with 1.35vcore in stress test.

Solution
I would not go over 1.3v. 1.3 for 4.2GHz seems high anyway, I know it's a little different, but my I5-3570k was hitting 4.4GHz at 1.14v.

1.35 is pretty high on the core, Try setting it to 4,4 or 4.5 with 1.22 on the core or 1.25 just make sure you keep speedstep and turbo boost enabled. I noticed for haswell it really helps with the idle temps. Most people are able to overclock the 4670k and 4770k to about 4.4 or 4.6 for the sweet spot. 4.2 is kind of on the low end, so you probably have a lesser than average chip if you can't go past 4.2. Try out my recommend settings. I am pretty sure they will work for you.

I don't understand why you think this is so bad. Your overclock is more than a lot of people would get. Adding a GHz to any processor is great.

Ok so just an update.I returned my processor and got a new one.Turns out I did get a bad apple.Just finished an 8 hour stress test at 4.7ghz with 1.3vcore.That's simply amazing.Temps topped out at 76c which is more than fine considering it will never get that hot with just gaming.I did find it a little strange though that my 4th core temps were way out of wack than the others. Now I've heard that haswell can be like that but this is like a 10c difference.I'll post a pic so you guys can see what I mean.
