Recently i have been experiencing random freezes with windows 8.1. As far as i can tell there is no way to predict when it will happen. I used Windows Trouble Shooter and it found a problem with my system but it didnt seem to help with the freezing at all. I opened up event viewer and looked at the warnings around the time of my freeze, hopefully these pictures can help diagnose the problem.( Posted Imgur link below to screen shots.) Any help would Be appreciated, Thank You!

Edit: Just checked Reliability monitor and a reoccurring problem is something called LiveKernelEvent.

A problem with your hardware caused Windows to stop working correctly.

Sorry, I saw this thread when you first posted it but didn't have an answer for you. I was curious about the solution though, so I was following it. Anyway, since no one seems to have any input, I'm going to give it a go.

This seems like a driver issue, I'm just trying to figure out which device could do with an update. Could you go to Device Manager (Windows key + X, then hit M) and check if there are any "unknown devices" or devices that are flagged as not working?
