Hello,

I currently have two options I am looking into for my future computer builds. Please help me out and give your suggestions on which build you think is better.

Build 1:

This is actually a friends build he is looking to sell...

- Intel i7 2600 (2 years used)
- 1 TB HDD (1 month used)
- 8 GB ram
- Gtx 760 OC edition (1 month used)
- 750 watt psu
- Zalman z11 case
- P8Z77 Vpro motherboard (2 years used)
- Additional 19" Acer monitor (I will probably buy a different one anyways)
- DVD Writer
- Additional features not necessary to mention

Although this build is used I have been assured there are no damages and that the system has been kept in mint condition.

Final cost: $1,100

Build 2:

This is a new build...

- AMD X6 FX-6300 ($120) (Not my favorite feature but I want to stay close to budget)
- 1 TB HDD ($63)
- 8 GB ($92)
- MSI GeForce GTX 770 ($384)
- Corsair Builder Series CX750 750 Watt ($100)
- Corsair Carbide Series 200R ($60)
- Asus M5A97 ($86)
- Asus VE247H 23.6" Widescreen LED monitor (This will probably be purchased for the other build as well)
- Asus DVD writer ($16)
- Additional features not necessary to mention

Total cost: $1,130

Thanks for the help an opinions guys!

This is what I would do buy your friends computer, sell the 760 OC, and then buy a 770. With the 6300 build you have such a good GPU, your CPU might bottleneck it, lol. You can probably sell the 760 OC for 240$ on eBay, so a 770 would cost 140 dollars more!!! I would see if I could talk him down to a thousand since your buying all the items in bulk, because he would lose money if he tried to sell them separately, and who else could he sell to in the neighborhood any way, unless your neighborhood is filled with nerds like me. Anyways if he sold it on Amazon or eBay nobody probably buy it. So you got hime right where to want him, and everyone wins!
