I am going for a new build after trying to fix up an older system. I have decided to go to haswell, probably an i5 rather than i7 for now. My main question is that I have (2) Asus GTX 760's now. I will be running (3) 2560 x 1440 displays (maybe more eventually?) Do I need to get rid of the 760's and go to 770's or 780's to keep up? Sending the 760's back and getting (2) 780's is another $500.

More about : build 760 780 2560 1440 displays

Looks to me that for max game play you are looking at minimum 2 x 780 preferably Ti. Everything apart from Gaming the 2 x GTX760 will handle it.

Ouch, I'm with rolli on this one, you are gonna have to shell out some serious cash for 3x2560x1440.

I am using two $300 46 inch LED TVs as dual monitors one via Display Port adapter to HDMI and the other is connected to the normal sized HDMI port. The 46 inch has the best price to size ratio and it is portable. The tint film is static cling onto the bezel, not the actual screen, to help reduce eye fatigue and act as a sneeze guard for easy cleaning. I have one on each desk, but there are probably better ways to do it. Why 1440? I don't play any new games though, so I have no idea if the TV can keep up with framerate or have that tearing/stuttering thing that G Sync is trying to fix. Take care :)

I already have the monitors, it was OUCH. But now I have to get a system, other than my old Dell, to run them properly. Double OUCH, OUCH :)

Thank you, might as well bite the bullet now, before I realize how much I am spending :)  Think I will stick with the 780's, I think ti's would be about 200 more each.
