Which Steam Machine?

I really want a Steam Machine, however I can wait until they release (well those that haven't released yet).
I wondered if there is any Steam Machine that is better, from what you guys have read/deduced? I'm looking at the iBuyPro currently, as it's possibly the cheapest.
It shouldn't be too expensive, I know some Steam Machines are over 1500$ which is out of my budget!

A steam machine is any computer capable of running SteamOS.

You can build a gaming PC within your budget range, and install Steam OS, then play games.

These machines that are called "Steam Machines," are no different than any traditional gaming PC. The only difference is mainly the Operating System installed, and the size. You can build a Steam Machine using a Corsair 250D and mini-itx easily, for example.
