Hey guys. I put together a rig recently that ran me about $1300. i5 3570k, GTX 660 ti, Z77 SLi Board, Corsair Vengeance Ram, Corsair PSU, Blu Ray burner. I love the computer to death, It games like a fken dream but I have this spare GTX 460 laying around from my last AMD build and I noticed being an Sli board I have a spare Pci express slot next to my 660 ti. If i were to wire in the 460 next to it. Is it possible to use it in anyway to help overall performance?

I know I can't Sli it too my 660 ti, but there must be someway it can be used.

As people have said, it'll only be useful as a physX card. But when you are playing a game that does not use physx (like most of them) it'll only take up space and reduce airflow to your 660ti. So I would keep it around in case of emergency or if you find a game that uses physx that you can't run satisfactorily with your 660 ti or sell it.

Thanks for the help, That is something to think about is the air flow to my main card but the board has 3 PCiE slots so I'm gonna throw it in the third, run some benches and see what happens. Thanks guys.
