SLI suddenly stopped working?

It won't detect my 2nd 560 ti anymore... I've tried everything. I even disconnected the main video card and connected the new one in the main slot, and it gets power (Fans spinning) but the monitor or my computer will not pick it up. I'm assuming the video card died and needs replacing, correct? I've searched the forum and tried everything I could find, and have even reformated my computer.

That's what dead cards usually do, the fans work 99% of the time. If you really don't want to replace it, you can try the oven trick. I don't recommend it but hey, it's already broken. Google it, I don't know exactly how to do it, but I've heard many success stories.

However, those cards are starting to age. You can sell the working one for $75ish on ebay, and put that towards getting a new card. You'll be surprised what a single GTX 760 could do.
