As the title says, I just built and got my system past post installed windows and everything seems fine, except for the fact that I cannot get the wireless card to work for the internet. It recognizes the blue tooth but I cannot get it to give me any kind of wireless internet has anyone else had this problem with this mobo? I updated drivers from the website any help would be greatly appreciated.

Solution
Go into Device Manager and look under Network adapters. If your wireless card is recognized, it should show up there as Intel Dual Band Wireless-AC 7260. Right click on it and open Properties. Does it say that the device is working properly? Click on the Driver tab. What driver version is shown? The latest one is 17.0.0.34. If you don't have the latest driver, get it from the Intel Driver Update Utility here:
http://
check in the bios make sure both the bluetooth and wifi is turned on. make sure the intel chipset and mei drivers from the mb cd are installed or the newer ones from the mb web page. on the card make sure the ant wires are connected. if the card is working it should in the control panel for the wifi card see all local networks. on your network make sure the router broadcasting the ssid.

Drew, the info you posted appears in the section for Wired Networking because it is the driver for your wired Ethernet port (not what you want). The Intel driver for your wireless card would appear in the section for Wireless Networking (WiFi). If Wireless Networking isn't shown after you run the Intel Driver program, that means your computer isn't detecting the wireless card in your computer. What were the results when you looked in Device Manager as I mentioned in the first part of my message? Is your wireless card shown under Network adapters?

Ktriebol,

I have been working like a madman and just have had little to no time for myself this past month so i do apologize for not getting back to you. I actually removed and re-seated the wifi card in the mini pci slot. Then redid what you had said to do and it worked! Thank you so much for your help and the suggestion much appreciated
