I am looking to stay in between 600-650 and I need a monitor don't need OS or optical drive. I want a CPU/APU and mobo that would be good for a while. I prefer windowed cases and standard mobos. I plan on getting a GPU down the line so I don't need one now. I prefer a Full tower but they are a little more pricey so I went with a mid tower. I don't want a mini tower or a micro mobo. Do you think given those that I could squeeze anymore out of this build?

I would say that solid for what you want right now, any cheaper and it wouldn't be worth it. I would how ever suggest you get a GPU as fast as you can! just to improve in performance and such :) ! Gl and Game on :)

I only play dota 2 and occasionally LOL so not too worried about the GPU right now.

why would it being a newer series of ram matter? honestly curious. does it mean that it will be more compatible with other rams? and if it is not important I think I would take the faster now for only 5 bucks.

without the cooler will you be inder $600.

It's up to the monitor and which you want,my build is imo better, but if you insist on the lg ips panel will your build have to do.
You could look at the following apu,
http://pcpartpicker.com/part/amd-cpu-ad679kwohlbox
and maybe this motherboard,

both cheaper, the apu should at least be a little bit better from what i read.Look for some reviews if you want.
