Having Terrible Proformance on an Apparently Good Graphics Card

I had a not so good laptop and i wanted something fairly cheap and good for gaming so I recently just bought a new PC for me to game on. (Specs here: http://www.bestbuy.ca/en-CA/product/acer-acer-aspire-atc-105-eb11-desktop-pc-amd-a10-6700-1tb-hdd-8gb-ram-windows-8-1-atc-105-eb11/10283993.aspx?path=54c9f4ceacd8c6fe6d078f70aa186de0en02 )

I then realized that the graphics card wasn't very good so i went out and got a Zotac Geforce synergy edition GT610 2GB DDR3 graphics card. (Specs here: http://www.bestbuy.ca/en-CA/product/zotac-zotac-geforce-gt-610-2gb-ddr3-pci-e-video-card-zt-60601-10h/10217713.aspx?path=6a5ff6f40d2cd41af0eec78e14b85ae8en02&SearchPageIndex=1 ). Not sure if this helps but my old card was an amd radeon hd8670d.

I completely uninstalled the old graphics driver but i couldn't get the old card out because it is screwed in very oddly so i just unpluged the wires leading to it and installed the new graphics card into the pci-e slot and got it working. I then went on and installed the latest drivers for the new graphics card, then i tried some of my games and they ran horribly. (Games I tried: Next car game, Train sim 2014, Beamng drive,Car mechanic sim 2014, etc...)

They ran no better than on my laptop which is much worse than my new pc (car mechanic actually lagged on the menu) and i went on System requirements lab to test my computer and the graphics card would fail the recommended on most games. I went on Youtube and watched some reviews on the card saying that i was great and they showed game play with it at like 60fps with a computer no better than mine so I'm wondering if i did something wrong or if its broken or just a crappy card. If you suggest a replacement I only have like $100 left because of my PC. Please help!!! And thank you for actually reading the whole thing (sorry that its so long).

I thought that might be the case. I also heard that you can allocate some system ram to the A10 card but when i tried doing that through the bios I accidentally turned it from around 700mb to 512mb and I can't get it any higher. That's when i just said screw it and got a new card.

I would like to game in 1080p. And what exactly do you mean by what type of ram?

It's not going to be very good at 1080p gaming even in a best case scenario. You need new/different parts. Send that GT610 back ASAP. Think about getting about a $150 video card like the GTX750ti. I would even see about selling your A10 and getting a different cpu altogether.

Thanks. It says i have 8gb of ddr3 ram running at an nb frequency of 1497Mhz and a dram frequency of 798.4 Mhz.
Not sure what the last two things are but they looked important.:)

That means you have 8GB running at 1600mhz which is not bad. I'm think you were just expecting too much from an apu. Like I said, that will never be a capable 1080p gaming setup. The GT610 is even worse. Send that back if you can, and if you can't, sell it.
