Hi could you guys help me find something?
I am looking for a 5.25 bay mount that could hold up 1 or 2 2.5" inch (15mm preferred) HDDs and could also have a slim ODD.
I did stumble upon something like that in newegg.com but my dumb past self didn't bookmarked it and I couldn't find it with newegg's search tool.
Just in case, I still use the ODD simply because I still buy CD to rip them, Blu-Rays to watch them, and tons of old family DVDs still need to be ripped. My gaming/personal PC's case is a Lian Li TU-200 (mini-itx) that I like dragging around with me (it has a handy handle!). There is a HDD cage but I removed it the fitted in a closed loop CPU liquid cooler. Now I've been relying on a single SSD that is mounted under the GPU (SS 840 pro 256GB) and its filling up quick!
If I could find what I need, I could potentially fit in 2 of these HDDs (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16822236551) which are 15mm thick but are 2.5"inch form factor. Putting those 2 in Raid 1 or 0 would be awesome for a Steam library dump and general media storage.
Thank you Internet!
