Hi guys,
I'm about to put together my own machine after a couple of years drooling at others'. All of the parts seem fine except for RAM, which I have a question about.
I'm going to use MSI Z87-G45 as my motherboard, and as much as I'd like 16GB to put in it, the price is nothing short of off-putting to my budget. Fortunately, I have 8GB worth of spare XMS3 RAM (4x2GB) from my uncle. Is the mobo going to utilize all 4 if I decide to? Should I stick with these or settle for 2x4GB of better Vengeance or Ripjaws RAM?
Thanks a lot guys.
