I was overclocking my gpu every thing was fine, ran fur mark for stability test and when i opened Assassins Creed 4 when I tried to load the save game it stopped working. when I turned the clocks down it again started to respond. I saw no artifacts while I overclocked either in fur mark of in the game.Fur mark works well and shows no error. I am 14 so I can't think of an upgrade.
Also Tried:
Crisis 3 .
Sleeping dogs both had the same prob.
Am I wrong anywhere or I have reached my limit.

what are your specs? on what extend have you overclocked your hardware? decrease it a bit and retry. not responding games and driver failure is common stability problems.also what are your idle and load temps? they must be within an axceptable limit in order to maintain an good operative condition of the gpu!also above certain clocks you will need to increase voltage to have it stable!

lets say you have 1000mhz core clock. 30% is 1300mhz and it is quite a lot to be honest.are you on stock voltage? also there is a point and above that o/c wont necessarily result in better performance! reduce clocks a bit an see where games run fluently and stop.also make sure power limit in ccc is on 20%. also you could try heaven benchmark to test. for my 7970 with stock voltage i found tha 1090mhz for core clock is best fitted since 1110 wont be much of a difference on benchmark and gaming!above that i get driver failure!

I just slide the voltage bar and power limit to max 1090mhz in 7970 i never overclocked the card but my friend had a r7 240 and used it for home theater propose he overclocking 780 mhz to 1065 mhz and i worked fine
