I have a DV7-6c22 a it came with and A6 Processor a while back the processor went out so now I have downgraded to an A4. Problem is the A4 is too slow so i tried to upgrade to an A8 but i get no power no beeps no nothing but when i put the A4 back in it runs perfectly.

Solution
Not really, if the processor physically fits in the slot but the laptop won't boot, then the motherboard probably isn't compatible. You could change it, but finding one that's compatible could be a tedious and expensive process.

Instead of going for the A8, why not go back to an A6? It's a good processor and you know it will work.

I looked everywhere to make sure it could and found nothing saying it could not for more info if it helps any the socket is FS1 the A4 is a dual and the A8 is a quad

A DV7-6C22 is an HP laptop and socket FS1 is AMD's mobility range. You need to ensure that the processor supports socket FS1, otherwise it's no good.

Laptops are very much built as-is and expandabilily is usually a bad idea. You also need to bear in mind that the A8 is more powerful than the A6, so the other components may be incompatible and the extra power and heat of the A8 could make the laptop unstable. I suspect this is what you're experiencing.
