question about dead pixels

has anybody had a dead pixel (black) in his monitor and gone with time?
i heard some people saying that they had dead pixels and after a few months it disappeared

thank you..my asus monitor still at warranty..but i bought it from 7 months and these dead pixels only appeared these days...can they accept an exchange?

Exchange after 7 months? Maybe; no guarantees! Regarding dead pixels, manufacturers have acceptance limits and may entertain warranty claims depending on the extent of the damage. Try their tech support and open a ticket. Send them screen shots showing the dead pixels. This would be the start.

thank you..one last questions please.. there are no damages on my ASUS monitor except the dead pixels..and the monitor have 3 years warranty, they said minimum 5 dead pixels (i have about 7) so why no guarantees on that??

7 dead pixels will be covered under warranty if the limit is 5 dead pixels. When you call Asus support and open a RMA ticket make sure you mention this.
