AMD is also an option, an AMD FX 8320 or 8350 should do fine, but if you get the 8320, you may want to overclock to 8350 levels. The Intel core i5 is probably your best solution. Get a Haswell i5 that is overclockable, for future proofing. Good luck!

Even a fx 8350 will be good enough. in some of the benchmarks a fx 8350 oced to 4.8 ghz beats the i7 3770

Best cpu for your mobo is the 3570K @$210. The 3570 is the same price, so go for the overclock ability. Your mobo is H61 which means no overclocking possible, and is a dated chipset lacking somewhat in the good stuff. My advice is this; get the 3570K now, in the future move to a Z77 motherboard, which supports overclocking, and also has the 'bells and whistles'. If deciding to just upgrade both at the same time, go with a i5-4670K and Z87 motherboard to maximize potential, or a 4670 and H87 if overclocking is just something you don't want to get into at all.
