I have these specs on my PC.
GA-EP35-DS3R Rev. 2
Nvidia GeForce 9600 GT
Intel Core 2 Quad Q9300
PCI-Express X16 supported
DDR2 Dual 7Gb


I'm planning to upgrade my GPU only with GTX Titan for the meantime.
Will it perform well? Please advise.

It will be bottlenecked badly by your CPU and RAM. So badly in fact that you will not get anything close to max performance out of it. Unless you plan to buy a new CPU/motherboard/ RAM SOON, this is a huge monumental waste of money.

I just want to make sure I have this right, you want to upgrade your GPU to a Titan a $1000 GPU? I mean it would be magical compared to what you have right now but it's also a waste of money. A $250 GPU would be a huge difference over the 9600gt you have now.

I honestly think you should just use that $1000 you want to spend on a Titan and build a new computer. The Core2 days are done. Those CPUs are old and expensive.
