What brand (Maxell, Verbatim, Sony, etc.) of media are you using? What write speed are you using to burn the discs? Just to make sure I understand, the disc fails during verification but works on other computers but not yours?

The dvd's are maxell DVD-R and tried with all the speeds and also the burning process end fine the main problem is when is doing the verification and put the recently burned dvd and appear like it wasn't info in the dvd but for no waste my dvd's i went to a friend's house and he make me the favor to see if the burning was doing correctly and indeed the dvd cherged even with the exact name i put on it but in my computer it read it like it's blank, i'm starting to believd i need a new burner.

I'm having problems with Sony CD-R media. I tried reducing the write speed to 12X but it still failed the verification step of imgburn.

I can't say for sure but it could indeed be a burner problem. Does the drive recognize other discs such as software discs or music CDs or DVD movies? Does seem a bit odd that once written the discs can be read on other computers but not yours.

"Verbatim and Taio Yudens are the media we recommend most to use with Imgburn. They consistently give the best burns."

The "Layouts do not match." and "Verify Failed!" messages appear to be a common problem - http://forum.imgburn.com/index.php?app=core&module=sear...

One suggestion in the imgburn forums is to try a firmware update for the drive to see if that helps. Two other suggestion in the imgburn forums.is to try a different brand of media and yet another is to lower the burn speed.

To tell the truth i already tried with dvd's and that's the odd part the software dvd or music, movies and even dvd's i burned a 2 or 3 months ago it can read it but it's only having that problem with the recent ones.

I almost forgot the old burned dvds loads a little longer than before.

Since the old burned DVDs are taking longer to load it could the drive is failing. I can't say for sure but if you buy a new one then keep all the packaging and the receipt until you are sure the old drive was the problem.
