I have an odd question, I had just got new Memory for my computer, but when I install them, and go to change the frequency on the mb, I don't get that frequency as an option, nor do I get ones that I have heard of. The choices it gives me are:
DDR3- 864
" 1151
" 1439
" 1728
" 2015
I have installed 1866 G. Skill sticks. I checked to make sure that the BIOS is up to date and it is with 2301 version.
Right now I have it selected as 1728, which, according to task manager it is at 1600. I tried 2015, thinking it would reduce it to the 1866, but I get an error saying OC failed!!
Any thoughts on how to correct this?
