I just got a GTX 780 Windforce OC however the framrates are not as i expected for example in BF3 i was getiting 41 Frames whilst using Ultra at 1680 x 1050 . I have tried numerous things such as updating to the latest drivers, monitoring GPU temps and clocks and turning off v-sync as well as all of this i've browsed many Threads but can't find anything. I know there will be a bit of bottleneck due to using the FX-8320 but if so it shouldn't be to such a severity, Aslo my Unigine Valley benchmark score can be found here: http://gyazo.com/c67d6ab5fe4d5706fd67bb9e450db260.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Have you made sure that you are plugged into the video card and not the on-board video port?

Yes, i'm plugged into the graphics card for sure as the Motherboard doesn't have a on-board graphics port.

Let's see what's maxing out. You'll either need a second monitor or to play in windowed mode for this. Open task manager>performance to watch the core usage graphs (ignore average usage). Open MSI afterburner to see gpu usage. While in game what gpu usage are you getting? What is the highest core usage? If a core is maxing out then your cpu is a bottleneck.

Have you made sure to plug in the extra PCIe power plugs into it? This would cause the card to throttle massively. Also if your resolution scale is up higher, it would greatly reduce performance.

In war of the vikings My GPU usage fluctuates mainly between 45~55. The highest usage a core gets to is around 70-80, however when i play sleeping dogs my GPU usage can sometimes hit 95+ but its average is about is 75-85 and the highest usage of a core is about 50-60

Just to be clear, you have to have vsync and any other framerate limiters off when you do that test. If you had anything like that on then turn it off and redo it. One of those two things should be maxing out.

Just checked and they're firmly plugged in, anything else internal that could be the issue?

Here are my settings: http://gyazo.com/f18d4360d5c98a87e6a817ed1bddabb4 and this my GPU usage and my CPU core usage at the lowest framerate capture: http://gyazo.com/60ab2b9bd03f849f0caba5b847c0ac21 also i know that the fps is not limited as when i look at the sky i can sometimes hit 160 fps.
