I have added a couple computers to the network at my workplace, all computers running Windows 7 Pro. I am attempting to join these new computers to the existing domain but when I do this, Windows gives me the following error message:

"The following error occurred attempting to join the domain "xxxxxxxx":

An attempt to resolve the DNS name of a domain controller in the domain being joined has failed. Please verify this client is configured to reach a DNS server that can resolve DNS names in the target domain. For more information about network troubleshooting, see Windows help."

I am not having any luck using Windows Help. Any advice?

Thanks!

All are successfully connected to the internet and all older computers are visible on the network from the 2 newer computers. I have not checked ipconfig from the command prompt. I will try that. Thanks!
