Hey, I have a HP w1907v 19inch monitor and the resolution is not displaying correct, The power cable got moved and then all of a sudden the resolution will not change back and my native resolution (1440x900) is not showing, before the power cable was moved everything was fine and this has happened to me before and it randomly fixed itself. I'm sure the monitor isn't broken because I hooked up my xbox and it played on 1440x900 without no problems, and I know it's not a driver issue because I also have linux running on my PC and the resolution is also not displaying correctly. I have tried changing the vga cable but that didn't make a difference and I have also taken my pc apart and taken out the graphics and put it back in. My GPU is a GTX 650 Ti. Would you say there is a fix? Currently I'm just waiting like I did before to fix itself but I really hate using this resolution.

Edit: I forgot to mention, I managed to get 1440x900 using the nvdias control panel (Custom resolution) but it looks even worse and the monitor doesn't recognize it as 1440x900

Try another monitor to rule out a problem with the monitor.
Try another graphics card.
