HD7850 is better than 560ti (Benchmark seen here : http://www.anandtech.com/bench/product/858?vs=778)
Mantle is a low level access hardware API (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Application_programming_in...) that will allow
for better performance in games when using AMD GPU's, 7850 does work with Mantle.

Don't get the 1gb 7850, get the 2gb if your going to get one, they overclock well, when I had a single one I had it clocked at 1175 Gpu, 1300mhz memory, very easy to do aswell.

if you play at 1080p (1920x1080) resolution you will have to turn down the texture quality settings a little bit in the newest games, if you play at lower resolution than 1080p it should be fine...the VRAM on the card is used to stock informations for the game to render the frames and a 1gb buffer is not really optimal for the newest games...
