Hey all,

I'm looking to get a second card to SLI with my current. They are both GTX 760s just the only difference is I'm looking to get a 4GB card for my second. My current is only a 2GB. I was just wondering if it would be possible to SLI these two cards together and just have the other 2GB of the second card just not be in use. Is this possible?

As of right now, different memory sizes should work. There was a time when you were and then another time when you weren't. I haven't found any recent or updated information from Nvidia that states either situation. I have read many threads that have people who do use different memory sizes with great success. The only thing that would happen is the 4GB would only use 2GB of VRAM. As long as you have the same GPU (meaning same cores), everything else should work.
