Solution
You need to hold the reset button in for like 10 seconds or until the router lights flash. If that doesn't do it call the manufacturer. Or if your router came with your ISP bundle call your ISP they will support it. I use to do it for living in fact. Horrible job.

So, you did the router reset by pressing an pen in on the reset button? After you do that you need to log into your router the standard IP address (192.168.1.1). Then whatever the default username and password for the router is. Then go to the security settings on the router and set up a wifi password. Google your router model and it should give you the default username and password to use after the reset to login to the router.

yes i reset it with a pen in the back of the router,i go to the 192.168.1.1 and it doesnt get me any option to change anything, the only things that come up are basic set up,mac address clone and advanced routing and with that i cant save anything,do anything or try to change anything...i dont get any wireless connection like i said besides my old one that shows up with my neighbors connections i dont get it because i thought if i reset it,it would erase everything but it hasnt

Please make sure your router is properly connected with the internet. if it is connected. but still you are not getting internet then you need to reset your router and setup it once again with all secure and correct settings. your router will start working fine. for more information you can visit on: http://www.linksys.com/support
