Hi All,

I am a Magmt. Consultant with some basic idea of IT Infrastructure. Out of nowhere, my client now wants me to give them some specification on developing a incubation space for BPO (Business Process Outsourcing) clients. The space will have around 40 seats to do back office work. Now I would need your help in giving them specifics. I believe we would have the following broad buckets:
o Physical Security
o Network Perimeter
o Power Back Up
o Telecommunications
o End-User Computing
o Monitoring

Please help to me expand and further refine these in terms of details. I am looking at specifics like server requirements (cloud component) etc...
as a first step we are trying to provide a secure bare shell environment for a resource to work on and any kind of customization will be over and above the same depending on the requirements.

Any ideas....

I have your solution, but it may not be what you expected. You should subcontract to an IT company to do all the specs that you need. That will give you the hands-on input & expertise that you really need. The Internet is not the place to go as we don't *exactly* know your client & their requirements.

Just create a contract that really nails down the involvement of the IT company so that they can't steal your client. Don't pad the price too much to the client so that they decide to cut out both of you & go direct to another.
