Budget:
GPU < $300
Anything else i want the best for my setup

Low Profile Ram

Current Setup:
ASUS M4A78T-E AM3
Thermaltake V3 Black Edition Mid Tower Case
Thermaltake TR2 RX 650-Watt Modular Power Supply
Corsair XMS3 2GB PC10666 DDR3 1333MHz (8GB)
AMD Phenom II X6 1055T 2.8Ghz CPU
EVGA GeForce GTX 460 1GB GDDR5 PCIe

There's also the GTX 770 for about $300 and it's significantly better than the GTX 760. What games do you play and how high do you want to be able to bump up the settings? What resolution do you play at? There's also the GTX 660 if you want to save more money it's $188 on newegg. The 660 is just as powerful as the 580 which most pc gamers still consider to be very decent. The 760 is kind of in between those two cards.

Not at all.

Look at the graphics score on each result.

The result here shows a bottleneck. Look at the Graphics score.

There are CPU intensive games that will give you a low FPS but most games aren't that CPU intensive so it shouldn't matter much.

Also here's a video about bottlenecking from JayzTwoCents.

because of the cpu and low ram speed is why i suggest the 760 plus an ssd would make such a huge difference especially with the 1055t ( which is not a bad chip at all.) But most certainly the 770 is a better card but the combination ssd and card would change his world for 300 bucks

i was looking at the r9 270, so it seems that i will be going for 760 and the ssd combo, do you guys think i should upgrade my ram to gshock or what i have will be good after this upgrade? I am just playing FF14 right now and would love it if i had it to the max it can take.

can you recommend me on my build then
Current Setup:
MOBO:F2A75M
CPU: AMD Athlon X4 750k
GPU: HD 7770
PSU 550W
G-Skill 8gb DDR3 1600MHz

im going to upgrade to an r9 270 and i was worried it was going to be bottlenecked by my CPU
what is your opinion? and how high can i go in GPU until i do get bottlnecked because i wouldn't mind getting and 760 or 770 if there is no bottleneck
thanks

You aren't going to be bottlenecked with a GTX 770 but your games that are CPU bound are going to be quite laggy. In GPU bound games your system would do very well with a 770. Most games are GPU bound. GPU bound means your games will be more limited by the GPU instead of the CPU. So if you want a GTX 770 then go for it. It really makes no difference for CPU bound games which graphics card you get. It would probably take a GTX 780 to really have a bottleneck with your CPU.

The game i am playing is FF14 if that helps with the reason why i want to bump up my PC gaming performance?
