Hello, I recently moved into an office on the other side of my house and I am having trouble getting a good signal.

Here is what my wireless devices are:

Asus® PCE-N15 PCI Express Wireless-N300 PCI Express Adapter

I cant find the old adapter name but it was a frys electronics brand. I tried using this one also with the drivers properly installed and still nothing.

Sometimes I cant even access the web it just stops trying to connect even though it says I have connection (3 out of 5 bars)

My roommate is in the same room with me and dl's at 3.2mbs and if I even connect to steam I will only dl at 100-300 kbs.

I brought my mothers laptop into the room and had no problem connecting. we are running about 4 devices at a time on our router. I cant remember the name ill have to update it later. Sometimes the router will lose its connection and we all lose internet. A message pops up on my fathers desktop telling him its a firewall issues. We can just reconnect the router and it will give us internet.

I know this is a BIG post but please any comments or suggestions are appreciated. Thank you for your patience and contribution.

Does distance make a difference with your computer? What if there are less using wireless turned on at the same time as yours?
