This is the setup that I choose to build for my gaming rig and any input would be appreciated. The GPU is one that I had bought for another computer, but seems to do fine for Borderlands 2 and will up grade next tax time.

Case: Ultra Gladiator Mid Tower
CPU: Intel i5-4670K, 3.4 GHZ - 4th Gen

I would ditch the sound card (unless theres some port on it you really need), aftermarket cooler (for now), and filters (youll be fine without them till your budget opens up...freeing up 83.00. I'd put that towards a better card, if you can sell you 6670. That is, if youre set on z87 platform (intel).

For 1000.00, you could build a much better all round system

CPU: FX 8350 (210.00) MicroCenter http://www.microcenter.com/site/products/amd_bundles.aspx

Motherboard: (Free) AM3+ MIS 970A

PSU: (29.99) Corsair CX 500 http://www.newegg.com/Product/ProductList.aspx?Submit=ENE&N=-1&IsNodeId=1&Description=corsair%20psu&bop=And&Order=PRICE&PageSize=20

Memory: (79.99) gSkill Ripjaw X http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820231455

GPU: (239.99) ASUS GTX 760 DC202 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814121775

HDD: (59.99) WD Blue 1TB http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16822236339

Case: You Pick!
-------
Mouse: Razor Death Adder $ 60.00
OS: Windows 8.1 $ 97.00

Total: ~777.00

Leaves you plenty for the other things you want + Case

I agree with ToddyBody, instead of that i5 get a cheaper cpu like a fx 8300(may have to change motherboard) and get either a GTX 760 or better like GTX770
