Could any1 confirm, that a Zalman CNPS8900 Quiet (http://www.zalman.com/global/product/Product_Read.php?Idx=468) can keep my AMD FX6200 3.8 GHZ (no OC) below/around 50°? It is on the support list as codename Zambezi, but only the Quiet version available here, and i fear that 1500 RPM isn't gonna be enough.

Thanks , Peter.

I have this one before and it isn't that good if your chassis is not ventilated well. If you put it on max speed, it is a bit noisy but isn't enough to bother me.

I have Core i7-850 which uses 95W. It idles at 40C and go as high as 70 during the summer. So, definitely no for your cpu

If you want it to be below 50c, get a water cooler kit like Corsair H60

But the stock cooler can hold this CPU at 50°, and it is never going full load, only 30-40% max. Idle 35° with stock. But the stock cooler is somewhat dead, sometimes makes creepy noises :)
