Hit a Bios Wall 1805

Hit a Bios wall at 1805 for my P8Z77-V. I am having problems with my video card that was running for 1.3 years (AMD Radeon HD 7000) failed and will not pass post. Tried to update the Bios to a later one and the MB will not take anything higher than 1805.

i thought it might be the video card so I bought a Ge Force GTX 760. It has the same problem.

I put in my old computers video card and it runs with no issues (AMD Raydeon 6700 series) and it continues to run until I can figure it out.

Windows 7 64bit
I5 3570 3.4 ghz no overclocking
16meg Crucial x ram

I can't use the second video card port and bypass the primary and use the secondary.

Don't know what is going on... I have a ticket with ASUS and they have yet to get back to me.
Ideas?:)

The BIOS wall, as I call it, is a term that tells me the MB can not take anything higher than the 1803. Don't know if the MB is just to old or what the problem is. One of the first things I did was reset the BIOS. The Video card was working for over a year. I don't know enough about the Video interpreter to know if the high end card can't read any longer or not. Still waiting for ASUS to get back to me...

I have been building with ASUS since the 486 days... This is the first Video card problem I have had between the MB and Video card. I will let everyone know what ASUS says if they ever get back to me ;-)

Problem solved for now at least. having no further options I did the following.

Reset CMOS for the 3rd time.
Reloaded Bios for the 10th time. Still wont accept the latest version because the chip-set won't take it. (I guess that was one problems but not) but it is OK.
Disabled the Motherboard, cleaned, cans of air and alcohol wipes.
Reassembled everything and started it back up with the original Video card that stated this whole ordeal.
Power on right to windows like nothing ever happened....

Do I know what the problem was absolutely, NO. It did need a good cleaning other than that I have no idea what the problem was.
