Hello,

I'm trying to choose a laptop for my brother's birthday. I know cheap, gaming and laptop are words that don't really go together but he only needs it for casual use and isnt fussy about resolution and high graphics settings. He also needs it for university and work etc. I've been trying to decide between these two.

specs:
processor - Quad-core AMD A10-5745M
Ram - 6GB
Graphics - AMD Radeon HD 8550M Graphics, 1GB

or

Specs:
Processor - intel dual core i5 2.5 Ghz
Ram - 4GB
Graphics - Intergrated intel HD 4600

Also any new recommendations are welcome. Also i should mention these are both around £400 as my budget is around 400-450.

Thanks

Out of the two laptops, the first one is a better choice. It is an APU which essentially is basically a stronger integrated graphics card compared to the Intel. My friend has similar specs and he can game fairly well on it with some good FPS depending on what settings.
