So after a while I was thinking of either choosing a Asus R9 290 directCU II or a KFA2 GTX 780, right now the GTX 780 seems a better option HOWEVER the Asus edition of the AMD card seems to have of "fixed" some of the problems. I am mostly looking at sound and temperature of the two cards. Please do not base anything off the reference models (unless in the correct circumstance).

i would defiently go 780 becuase it is more energy efficient and quite often more options for better coolers. it also is with gpu boost 2.0 which you can adjust so it doesnt run too hot or loud
