Waiting for PS4 Slim...?

So every PS generation has had at least 2 or 3 new models.

It doesn't seem like the PS4 could get any slimmer, but maybe it'll get cheaper.

Any insight or recommendations on whether to wait or not?

Many people say that with another new model there are always new kinks to work out, but I've never had a Playstation fail on me.

My current PS4 has given me zero problems, other than an occasional OS hiccup or lockup, but that's to be expected on a brand new console, and I haven't had those in the last few months so they must have been fixed. I've had zero problems during games.

The Slim models on the PS3 came out a good deal while after the original PS3 came out, keep in mind. The PS3 launched in '06. The first Slim came out in '09. The Super Slim came out in 2012.

So if you want to wait 2-3 years to get a "Slim" PS4, sure, but don't expect one anytime soon. The console just came out, after all.
