Hi,
I want to upgrade my Emachine EL1352G. I would like to know which lp se graphic card I can buy? I do not want to spend more than $200 for the card because I have to buy a new power supply and new ram.
My actual config is the following:
windows 7 family edition (x64 pack 1)
AMD Athlon II X2 220 (2.80 GHz)
mother board: eMachines EL1352G Version: P01-A3
graphic card: NVIDIA GeForce 6150SE nForce 430

Can you also tell me which power supply will be require with the card?

I thank you in advance.

Solution
well to start with, this would be a very nice power supply to have at a VERY good pricepoint : http://products.ncix.com/detail/xfx-550w-pro550w-core-edition-41-59615-1296.htm it's not the best unit available but for the price it is a nice quality one and 550w is plenty...

Then the thing that worries me the most tho is your CPU, a dual core CPU like that will not get you very far in modern games...unfortunately quadcore AM3 socket CPU are very hard to find these days, i don't know if someone could point you a place where you could get one for a good price...i found some on ebay for around 100$ ...if you look for ''AMD Phenom II X4 socket AM3'' you will find them on ebay or amazon...
After that you would need to upgrade the RAM in order...

After that you would need to upgrade the RAM in order to have at least 4gb installed on your system
and then for graphics card you could go with a 750ti or a radeon r7 260x...
Your system unfortunately need quite a bit of upgrades to be up to specs...

A $200 card would be insanely unneeded for your system. the best that you could get with the power supply upgrade is a http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814500309 which is a gtx 640 with a low profile kit. I would normally suggest a gtx 750ti but your case requires low profile cards. You could get for around $300 a brand new apu system with everything allowing you to upgrade more in the future.

yeah i agree it would be better to start with an all new system...fm2 motherboard with a10 apu or am3+ board + fx-6300 and dedicated graphics depending on the budget...
what would be your budget for a new gaming pc and what games will you want to play...maybe just a gt640 would do if you like older games and stuff...?

Thank you for your response. I prefer to not change my PC this one is working fine as a working/editor PC, I never had problem with it in 4 years and I do not know what I will do with it. If I have to buy a new machine I would not like to spend more than $700 on the tower.
paitjsu sadff you said that I need to change my processor, I am worried about my mother board. Is it going to tolerate a quad core processor?
