Does anyone know where I can purchase a copy and key for windows 7 64? I would like to have professional, but could settle for home edition.
I can't seem to find anything but OEM, and I am tired of purchasing another copy every time I change computers

Windows 8 is superior, and the interface issue is easily avoided with Start8. Seriously, the interface is basically IDENTICAL.

There are a LOT of differences under the hood so I strongly recommend getting W8.

*Also, Windows 8 OEM is transferrable, but Windows 7 OEM is not. Looking up that info correctly is a huge pain but that is how it works. I really can't think of one good reason to recommend Windows 7.

So I will not have any trouble with installing an OEM copy of Windows 8 on a different rig if I get rid of my current one? Are there many compatibility issues with older hardware and software when running Windows 8?

After a great deal of moaning about Windows 8, I finally took a recommendation and got Start8. Extremely satisfied. I've had 8 for over a year. Hated every minute of it. With Start8, I feel right at home. And I can use my OS over and over and over and over and... you get the point.
