Heres the story on what happen, I've had my PC since the FM2+ Mobos came out and I also added a Gigabyte R7 260x. 3 days ago on 3/30/14 I was playing Rust and my monitor just turned off but my pc was still on, my Mouse and Keyboard too. I though my PC just crashed or something so I went to sleep. Also when it turned off, I heard noises on my Headphones, like error noises and I heard them again every time it turned off later on. Anyways the next day I was playing Skyrim for over an hour and same thing happened, then again it happen in less than an hour, then again in less than 20 minutes, then in less than 15, then 10, then I though it was failing cause of playing games but it was happening while in the start menu too until then it would turn off before even getting to the start menu. Now I know about pcs but not everything so I did everthing I knew, i switched back to my Intergrated graphics and I tried updating drivers, I tried earlier drivers, i reseted the Bios, I messed around with the Bios, I didt a lot of stuff but nothing. Then I turned it on and my GPUs fan started to spin at Max speed and no signal like always and thats how its been. My Mobo doesnt detect my GPU in the Bios now Either so I cant mess with it.

At some point I was able to see if my GPU was overheating on Z-GPU but no, the temps were around 40C and then it turned off.
My CPU or APU is always cool too, 30C-40C with my after market heatsink. infact my room itself is cold and my PC case is too with 4 Fans.

For 5-6 months my PC was fine until recent days, here are my specs.

Motheboard Gigabyte GA-F2A88XM-HD3
APU A8-6600k 3.9 GHz
GPU Gigabyte R7 260x 1Gb GDRR5
8Gb of DDR3 1600 Mhz
1TB Western Digital Blue hard Drive
Corsair CX 430 Power Supply

I know when I first started overclocking video cards when I had my first radeon card if the overclock was a power issue that screen would just turn off and I would hear a noise in my speakers or headphones. You might be having a power delivery problem to your video card. or the video card itself is faulty

that is more so just a term I use for power supply failure, or you video card isn't working properly. by any chance did you disable the on-board video? I know you can crossfire with apus but that might be causing your issue also. You might want to head over to your bios and disable it and then try tot play your games agian
