Please be more specific. Your build is suited for much more than Minecraft, so let's dig a little deeper. When did this problem first begin? What were you doing? Were any updates installed? Any software changes? Have you tried rolling back to a point before the problem started? The more information you give, the easier it is to troubleshoot.

If you really want an easy fix to be honest just get Optifine. It's a mod so make sure you know how to install mods on MC (it's not that hard). Also I'm not sure if it is updated to the current version of MC but if it is I highly recommend it.

After I used it on my old laptop I saw my fps jump by leaps and bounds. It's at least worth a shot.

I loved Tekkit, when I still played. "Rolling back" simply means restoring your system to an earlier, operational point in time. This can be done using System Restore, if it is enabled. Also, have your tried reducing your graphics settings within Minecraft? This can often help, and has worked for me in the past. Good luck and let me know how it goes.

A potato can run MC, his spec is fine for fancy etc. Make sure vsync is off, update your GPU drivers (remove the old ones first with a sweeper, I recommend guru3d) and on 'edit profile on the launcher' type under the JVM arguements (RAM) type -Xmx2048M

Is vsync turned on in the game settings, also go to edit profile on the Minecraft launcher on the JVM arguments (RAM) type -Xmx2048M
