RAID and/or NAS

What I am looking to do if possible would be to purchase a 4-bay external HDD enclosure whether a NAS or just USB3 connections and have 2 separate RAID-1.

Example: drive bays 1 and 2 would be a RAID 1 with 2TB HDDs and drive bays 3 and 4 would be another RAID 1 with 1TB HDDs.

I don't want to keep backups of employee "my documents" and documents from a scanner on the same large 3TB HDD using a 2-bay RAID 1 device although it'd have the mirrored drive for redundancy and an external USB drive such as WD My World to keep at home for natural disaster recovery,etc...

Yes I am aware I could purchase 2 2-bay NAS from Buffalo or CRUDatport,etc.. just trying to reduce my overall cost and counter space if possible

Do Buffalo, CRUDataport, Synology offer products that would do this?

Thank you for answers in advance!!

Any drive that says NAS and or says RAID will work. Home drives might only do RAID if that and performance drives will often do raid. Then NAS will do raid.
