Intel and AMD chipsets question

I want to know everything about chipsets. I want to expand my knowledge about them. And I also want to know their recommendations for each type of user. For example: What Intel and AMD chipset are best for gamers? For home users? For workstation professionals? etc.

Sorry for my bad english, for I am Spanish.

Just read all you can - there are no true BEST chipsets, need to look at all that is going to be done with a rig, then need to look at and consider what can be done within the given budget, in general workstation I'd go X79 or Z87 (X99 coming soon), gaming right now I'd look at the Z87 or Z77 or the AMD3+ socket chipsets like 990, for basic use and no OCing, INtel has a variety of chipsets in both the 1150 and 1155 sockets

To who would the H87, H81 and B85 chipsets be recommended to? I'm interested in LGA 1150, not the others.
