Wouldn't recommend any HP (bad paper feed design).
Nor an Epson (more prone to nozzle blockage).
Nor a Lexmark (cartridges outrageously expensive).
Buy a Canon model. They are the best all-rounder in my opinion. Very happy with mine, still going strong after 8 years use.
