Would anyone like to recommend any changes to this possible build for a 3D animation and modeling workstation?

Are you planning on just doing the animation and modeling stuff? or do you plan on also playing current gen games? Quadro is diffidently faster, and works better for 3d modeling and animation. you can check out the difference here https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kl4yNCgD3iA You can use a geforce card, and a quadro in the same system without any problems. For my video editing pc I have my geforce card on 2 monitors, and then I have my quadro on its own

What do you plan on doing with the blu-ray writer? because if you can coup with just a regular one you could swap it out for a gtx 760 or maybe even a 760 ti. If you do get the 750 ti you could even down the power supply to something like a builder series if you don't ever plan on upgrading to anything over a single 6 pin video card. but if you do take my advice on the 760 or the 760 ti you would need that 600w power supply

I need Blu-Ray to distribute stereo 3D animations. However, I will look at the cards you mentioned. Thank you! I am curious what the difference between the nvidea gtx is compared to the Nvidea quadro series, does anyone out there have experience with one or the other?
